How To Fix Failed Update Windows 10
As we know that every user of Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and other editions will be offered a free upgrade to Windows 10. Well ... yesterday was July 29 when officially launching Windows 10 and this means that your machine can be migrated to the latest version of Windows. But my friend's laptop cases do not surf the process, failing even though Windows 7 SP1 (64-bit) is the original and have installed the latest updates.
So Sunday I tried to find a solution and I noted all here to help you experiencing the same problem.
And finally I succeeded. :)
The first is a method to force Windows Update to repeat and recognize that the upgrade can be executed, but you are required to clean up before the update folder in the location C: \ Windows \ SoftwareDistribution \ Download. Just delete all folders in it, this will make the contents of the Windows Update become vacant as a new install.
Then the Windows update process will run (set up with high speed internet or staying asleep alone), and should be in the command prompt window will display a notification before upgrading to Windows 10.
