How To Fix Windows cannot be installed to the disk, the selected disk is of the GPT partition style
Note: If your computer has been in intal operating system, I recommend to do a backup of all your data. Because of the following operations will erase all hard disk partitions.
Here are the steps:
Insert the CD or USB boot your Windows installation.
Follow the steps in the CD instalasai.
Having reached the interface to install, (there is the main picture of this article).
Press Shift + F10, it will open a Command Prompt window.
Typing the command "Diskpart" and then press Enter to start this operation.
Typing the command "list disk" and then enter. This command to see the current disk partition. Usually the partition for Windows on the disk 0.
Typing the command again "select disk 0" and then enter. This command to select the partition you will install Windows.
Typing the command "clean" and press enter to clean the disk partition.
Typing the command "convert to mbr" and press enter. This command mode to convert the hard disk from GPT to MBR mode.
(Optional) Now create a new partition by typing the command "create partition primary size = xxx" (you can replace the letters xxx with the number you want, the numbers in the Mega Byte size or MB). Or you can pass if you want to create partitions in the visual appearance of Windows installed later.
(Optional) Type the command again "format fs = ntfs quickly" (command to format in fast mode). You can ignore this command.
Typing the command "exit" to end the operation in diskpart.
Again typing the command "exit" to exit the Command Promt.
The last step, restart your computer to start the installation of Windows.
